Programming is housed in a beautifully renovated 1920's building in downtown Carnation which includes musical performances from classical to rock, art classes, pottery classes, open studios and community meetings.

DUVALL
DAC presents two performing arts series - Arts Onstage at Cedarcrest High School and SummerStage in McCormick Park. They sponsor the River View Drama Club, an after-school program for ages 8-13. Starting in July 2005, they will sponsor visual art exhibits in Duvall's City Hall. DAC partners two other valley arts organizations through the King County Performance Network.
The Duvall Foundation for the Arts supports arts education, local artists and musicians in the lower Snoqualmie Valley. DFA organizes the annual Sandblast Festival and is partnering with the Northwest Art Center (see below) to strengthen arts education in the greater Duvall area. DFA is also working to establish a community arts center in Duvall and organized a successful effort to save an historic barn which is slated to serve this purpose. (Please note that this web link is under reconstruction Jan 2005).

Every child should experience the achievement when the audience applauses.  Every person should feel the accomplishment of mastering a challenging skill.  Every parent can share their child’s fulfillment when they take a bow.

Duvall Performing Arts raises its curtain with a passionate commitment to its students and service to the community.  Classes are taught by DPA’s dedicated faculty who

will provide professional technique and training, create countless works of art, and mentor young people during their first steps of their journey into the world of performance.

Behind our curtain our goal is to enrich the lives of aspiring dancers, musicians, theater artists, and performers. In a nurturing light of lessons learned, roles performed and friendships forged we will be there to support and applaud our students and families.

We invite you to come and try a free class.  We hope you will find an enriching and educational performing arts experience.  If creativity is your passion or you are just trying on the shoes, plan to gain a deeper appreciation for the arts and yourself.

The Northwest Art Center opened the summer of 2004 in one of downtown Duvall's historic buildings.  The highly respected, local art teachers, Dianne Brudnicki and Susan Jenkins teamed up to create an accessible, intimate center for visual and literature arts education for children and adults.  They have a wide variety of classes and present regular arts showings in their gallery.
The P & G Speakeasy Café offers a great cup of coffee, well prepared food and good company while supporting local artists and musicians.  The Cafe features regular weekend performances accompanied by unique dinner specials that celebrate cuisine from around the world.  Open mics and frequent art showings also grace this comfortable, intimate venue in downtown Duvall.
